The Eranos Foundation wishes to pay a heartfelt tribute to Massimo Danzi (1954–2026), a refined scholar and dear friend from whom, over the years we knew him, we learned what it means to face life, in all its forms, with spirit, profound intelligence, and immense sensitivity. And with a strength and, at the same time, a lightness—even in the face of the awareness of an incurable illness—that remain the greatest lesson he could have left us.
